The program isn’t what it seems.  There are reasons why they finished the cross country year (2024) with only 5 runners and most of the active runners are freshman (or jr college transfers).  Go back and look at the results, every year there are mostly different runners on the team.  Ask yourself why...

The school is great, but the current cross country and track programs are something you want to avoid until changes are made

The link below is the year to year roster.  If you compare the cross country rosters from 2022,2023,2024 there is a lot of turnover for a very small team.

You don't want to have the same experience that most of the runners have had over the last few years.   Yes, running in college is time consuming and difficult.  But it should be fun and it shouldn't cause you mental health issues not related to running.
